Teachers to the Rescue
The mission of Teachers to the Rescue is to promote the development of well-rounded children
and youth in Puerto Rico. We cultivate initiatives, projects, and research that stimulate
the development of socially committed citizens.

SEED
Saving for Education Entrepreneurship,
and Downpayment, is an initiative designed to develop, test, and impel
special matched savings accounts and financial education for children and adults.

DIME
Directores con Iniciativas Motivadoras en la Escuela,
(Principals with Initiatives Motivated in School) is a recent project aimed towards the betterment of schools, the
integration of parents into the educational community, the improvement of infrastructure, and the development of innovative
projects, according to each school’s particular needs. DIME supports the efforts of school principals to maintain an
environment of excellence in their educational institutions.

Conflict Management
In response to the increase in violent incidents in schools and the
environment of insecurity and fear that this has generated, the Foundation
has developed an initiative to raise social awareness, promote viable solutions
to prevent violence, and to provide intensive training to all members of the
scholastic community in conflict management techniques.
